Olin Johannessen

is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and music educator from Dover, New Hampshire.

His first solo album is out now and available via BandCamp!

For me, the creation of this album has been the outward expression of a personal awakening, as I find expression and meaning through songwriting.

I have found it wonderfully fulfilling to give voice to some of the big feelings and moments I’ve experienced over the course of the last several years. I am incredibly proud of my songs, and feel inspired at the realization that I’ve only just begun to tap what’s inside of me, both lyrically and musically.

“Seek my heart — in it find dreams to make my life a work of art.”

First Solo Album Out 3/1/21

With six full-length tracks, and collaborators spanning from all over North America, Johannessen stretches his musical legs, expressing the gamut of emotions through genres ranging from folk, to jazz-infused indie pop, to an old country western sob story ballad, to rockabilly, even including a spoken word piece narrated over piano, percussion, and found sounds.
